[In addition to the usual package of cookies and tea she’s been sending to every Mirrorboud, Marie’s gift for Vanitas contains a woolen sweater and a handmade scarf. She might know that Vanitas is properly taking care of himself now but she still feels protective. Forgive her!]

If it's a step closer, this world needs a lot more help. It nearly burned through everyone that helped out. Dealing with something like that on a bigger scale?

More like a lucky shot. If that's the case, it makes me wonder if whatever called us here will try to summon more. Or mayhap try to get other areas involved. World's a big place after all.

I don't know about all of that, Mira. It feels like the world in general is on it's last legs.

You and others have mentioned it before. Like it was starting to stagnate, right? Like everything would just fall into stillness before passing on?

Because of too much Light. Despite what some people say, not all Darkness is bad. Need a balance otherwise to be frank, the world would be fucked.

The First was close to a Rejoining, what Emet-Selch and the other ascians wanted but not only would that destroy the entire star but cause a calamity on the Source. So the situation with the Cwyld feels familiar, yes.

[ Well Vanitas would always argue that a balance is needed. That's why he so desperately wants his own Light to go alongside the Darkness that he is. Out of everyone from his world, he understands the balance that is required. ]
I remember that part too. The Source needs to lean the opposite way that a Shard is.

[Mira has to think on it. Mainly because what all do they know? What can kill this disease and won't nearly kill those trying to destroy it.]
...go further. As in possibly travel away from here and not to where we have been before. We haven't heard much from what we can do from here and there's no ideas being offered.

Look, people around here aren't too helpful either. They really are disconnected from the entirety of the world they live in. Leaving sounds good, but we have no idea what's actually out there.

Better than just sitting around and doing nothing. The only reasons I give a damn what happens to this star is because this disease may spread to other worlds and it has you and Sora on it. I'd do anything for you two and that includes trying to figure out what else is going on here.
They have plenty of heroes and already one Warrior of Light. I doubt they'd mind if one goes off to figure out what else is out there.
