The First was close to a Rejoining, what Emet-Selch and the other ascians wanted but not only would that destroy the entire star but cause a calamity on the Source. So the situation with the Cwyld feels familiar, yes.

[ Well Vanitas would always argue that a balance is needed. That's why he so desperately wants his own Light to go alongside the Darkness that he is. Out of everyone from his world, he understands the balance that is required. ]

I remember that part too. The Source needs to lean the opposite way that a Shard is.

So what do you see the solution here as? There's no Rejoining here. Just a disease.

...go further. As in possibly travel away from here and not to where we have been before. We haven't heard much from what we can do from here and there's no ideas being offered.

Look, people around here aren't too helpful either. They really are disconnected from the entirety of the world they live in. Leaving sounds good, but we have no idea what's actually out there.

Better than just sitting around and doing nothing. The only reasons I give a damn what happens to this star is because this disease may spread to other worlds and it has you and Sora on it. I'd do anything for you two and that includes trying to figure out what else is going on here.

They have plenty of heroes and already one Warrior of Light. I doubt they'd mind if one goes off to figure out what else is out there.
