I'd like to know how THAT happened. I'm not connected to you in any way so why would I have a dream about YOUR family?

We've encountered each other once, so either it's a randomized event or it was from something that occurred during that time. Has anything like this happened to you before?

It hasn't. Not with anyone I'm not connected to, that is.

No. I mean that quite literally. There's never been magic involved prior to coming here.

I am half of a whole. Naturally the connection I share to my missing piece means that I, from time to time, experience what he is.

I am a piece of a person's very essence, ripped out of their heart. Their soul, some would call it.

Small glimpses. Mostly emotions. Nothing quite to this extent, I admit. It never felt like I was living it.

Not between people who aren't Bonded... Even then I think that it doesn't happen all that often.

The exchange of magic is all that makes sense then, unless you have other theories.

If it can happen that easily, that's a problem.

Or maybe it is the process of the exchange itself that has the unwanted side effect.

Assuming you mean funneling magic into the vessels and then removing it, that's what I'm referring to. The only way to know for certain would be to contact others who did the same.

I only did this for one other person, so I am not sure that is a large enough pool of people to question. Even then it may be difficult to discern which memories are which.
