There is always simply talking to vent out frustrations. We all have those times where we need to do things on our own but being able to talk about them and not bottle them up, that is something worthwhile.

Yes and no; you can control your emotions to an extent but to be in full control? No, even those who are tight lipped and keep them close can have outbursts at times.

It's...a rather complicated mess and I do not think anyone has solved how to do so.
