Snowball fight and some Warrior and Ascian flirting. After the snowball fight ends, all three go inside and get warm. They start to exchange stories about their respective worlds/star. Vanitas learns just as many things about Emet-Selch and Mira as they do about him. He is just as curious about how their star works as they are about him. There's plenty of snark, stores, and feelings in this thread.
What starts off as a search for Van's Flood turns into a discussion of hobbies. Apparently one of Thancred's is singing. Vanitas doesn't really know what he has signed up for here...
These two really aren't getting on so well. Aqua is convinced that Vanitas can turn his life around. She makes it sound so easy and talks as if it is some desirable thing that Vanitas wants. Of course he can't make it so easy for himself and therefore has to take it out on someone.
Talking about the results of the fight between Vanitas and Ventus. Cu doesn't really have more advice to offer, not that Vanitas would probably take it at his point. Instead Vanitas is just resolved to take things as they come.
Marie shows some concern about Vanitas and his vagabond lifestyle. Vanitas would prefer her to stay out of his business. However she insists on sticking her nose in it. Even wants to talk to Ventus! Then Marie has the audacity to want him to learn self love and care. He feels a little cornered.
Food sampling turns into another discussion about Vanitas and a past that he doesn't remember. It reminds Emet-Selch of the people who were first sundered. Once again both of them just don't seem to understand why people strive towards the Light and go out of their way to shun Darkness.
A little more in-depth conversation about some of the things that Marie was telling Vanitas. He shows a slightly vulnerable side to Mira. She invites him to stay with her and the others. Vanitas agrees.
