AQUA
In the past, Aqua had meant to serve as a back up just in case Ventus couldn't handle things again. That is the only purpose that she could possibly serve. Even when the Final Battle she hadn't meant anything in particular to Vanitas. However the two have crossed paths since that time and they can't see eye to eye. Though Aqua insists that Vanitas should take up the offer given to him by Ventus and Sora, she states that he needs to change or it will mean nothing. To Vanitas, she doesn't understand anything and she never will. She's cute, but there's no need to waste any more time on her. If she leaves him be, he will leave her be.
Or so he thought. But apparently not even Aqua can see fit to leave him alone. There have been a few altercations with this "Master." For some reason or another she has decided that she actually wants to give Vanitas a chance and yet gets frustrated when he doesn't respond in a positive manner. Vanitas, as of right now, is watching and waiting to see if she actually does follow through with her words.
VENTUS
Ventus is his other half. The Light to Vanitas' Darkness. In the past Vanitas has tried to unite their halves to become one person. He had intended to become whole with himself in charge rather than Ventus. However things hadn't worked out like he planned. With Sora taking Vanitas' place, Ventus' heart had been able to heal. With no hole for Vanitas to return to, he's stuck. So he doesn't feel the need to have Ventus around. If anything he dislikes Ventus greatly, for he gets to have everything that Vanitas had wanted. Now, after spending so much time rejecting him, Ventus wants to "fix things" between them. This, of course, only enrages him more because Ventus has absolutely the worst timing.
They had a full out brawl - Vanitas will claim that he won it - and Vanitas isn't really all that closer to understanding Ven and his current motivations. Is their "bond" bette or worse? It's hard to tell, really. He does, however, hate Ventus just a little less.
EMET-SELCH
Emet-Selch had been telling a story about a goddess of Light and a god of Darkness when Vanitas encountered him. It had been an interesting tale, if nothing else. Since when is Darkness considered good and benevolent while the Light stagnant and destructive? Further discussion on the topic lead him to discover that the man comes from a broken world where many had been sundered from themselves - not unlike Vanitas is. Emet-Selch and Vanitas seem to have similar stances on doing whatever it takes in order for that which is broken to become whole once more. Vanitas doesn't trust him, of course, bu it is interesting to at least meet someone that can appreciate his stance on he issue and genuinely hope that he succeeds.
The guy's "star" is a lot more complicated and apparently so is the whole situation between him and his "warriors." Vanitas has gotten to know more about that at the very least. There's no real animosity between him and Emet-Selch, though the old man does seem pretty annoyed with Vanitas from time to time. However the dynamic switches back and forth, depending upon the mood. The more he gets to know the Ascian, the more Vanitas sees how they are alike. He sees them as allies, of sorts. At any rate, he had gone on a rescue mission just because Vanitas doesn't like people messing with what's "his."
CRYSTAL EXARCH
Vanitas doesn't know what to really think about this guy. The smile and obviously shady impression that G'raha gives off does not do him any favors. Initially, Vanitas had been skeptical about this man's intentions when offering to help him with studying healing magic. Figuring that he has nothing to lose by it, Vanitas does agree to go along with it. Surprisingly, the Exarch's methodology actually does help Van actually succeed in this attempt at healing magic. He's been aiding Vanitas with this area ever since.
ENDIKU
To be fair, Vanitas doesn't have much of an impression of Endiku just yet. During that one conversation, Vanitas wasn't entirely able to get a sense of what their character is like. There's something definitely not human about them and they seem to understand a great deal. However there had been been the topic of friendship. Vanitas doesn't particularly enjoy hearing another "friends are good" speech. So for now he's withholding judgement.
From what interactions they have had with Vanitas, they aren't too different from himself. Vanitas is still puzzled by the fact that Endiku still wants to talk and be around Vanitas for any length of time. Who would? Though they don't really bother Vanitas overmuch, so it isn't as though he is opposed to the idea in general.
MIRA CHAMBERS
Mira is another person that really needs to mind her own business. While she seems to have some basic understanding that Darkness is not necessarily evil, she still acts like the "heroes" that Vanitas could care less about. He doesn't appreciate anyone telling him to stop doing what he intends to do. On the other hand, it's not like she immediately stepped into action unlike Aqua and Ventus. Mira just sort of mocked him a bit and Vanitas clearly respects that more than someone just seeking to do a good deed.
She actually isn't that bad. Honestly. As Vanitas has gotten to know Mira and her background, somewhat, he finds that he doesn't mind being around her really. Though he doesn't know why she has taken a sudden interest in his "home" and is being nice without asking for anything in return. Now that even more time has passed, Vanitas actually thinks quite fondly of her, though he hasn't realized what that emotion is yet. Mira treats him well, like an actual person. She's done a lot for him in ways he doesn't fully comprehend, but he recognizes her aid. It's because of this that Van can acknowledge that, perhaps, she is important.
CÚ CHULAINN
Not much is really known abut this guy yet. Vanitas interacted with him over the network. He had some interesting things to say about someone that is him but also not him. While not the same as the situation that Vanitas is in with Ventus, Van decided to take the guy up on his advice anyway.
SCÁTHACH
Scathach is another individual that Vanitas doesn't really have much of an opinion on. She interacted with him first over the network. Van believes her to be a little haughty and finds her immortality an interesting curse to have. All the while some of her views on things he can understand, though it doesn't seem that she understands his reluctance to just kill Ventus at the moment. Ether way, Scathach is someone that Vanitas is gong to keep his eye on for now.
MARIE ANTOINETTE
Vanitas doesn't understand Marie at all. At first he had been having a little fun with her, because she had been completely oblivious to the fact he hadn't been preferring to an actual bug annoying him, but Ventus. But the problem is that Marie is legitimately concerned? She wants to get involved and fix things between himself and Ventus. Not only that, she seems to be really concerned about Vanitas himself - his background and the lack of being a "normal" teenager. Vanitas, of course, doesn't know how to respond to any of this.
He has, however, decided to go ahead and Bond with Marie. She means him no ill will. In fact, she only wants what's best for him, in his own time.
FLAT ESCARDOS
Flat is annoying and pretty confusing. Legitimately Vanitas doesn't know if Flat is either stupid and rude, or purposefully rude. It can go either way. Yet Flat says that he likes Vanitas and Van has no idea what basis Flat has decided that upon. The things that comes out of this guy's mouth just irritate and anger Vanitas to no end. Yet Flat just keeps on encouraging interactions and asking a myriad of questions.
WATARU KURENAI
Wataru probably means well. He seems to be into music, but that's about what Vanitas knows about him. Other than this, he is a more positive person, looking for that silver lining. Vanitas is still withholding an opinion as of yet.
SORA
Sora is undeniably important to Vanitas, almost to the same degree that Ventus is. After all, the brat "defines" him. He filled the void that Vanitas left behind in Ventus' heart. So they are connected in a way that few others ever will be. Despite that, he doesn't know that much about Sora despite being pretty familiar with him. They met in a dreamscape twice before Sora showed up. During this time, Sora established that he wanted to get to know Vanitas as himself. No expectations to change either.
However upon arrival, Vanitas had been in a bad state. Not having a Bond for four months, he had been ready to explode. Sora Bonded with him so that Vanitas could come around. They've been having conversations and somewhat hanging out since. Sora doesn't feel entirely comfortable with the others and Vanitas... Well he doesn't exactly mind the company. He can tease Sora pretty easily whatnot. Though Sora has, in ways, also helped Vanitas. Yet recently they got into it during a time where Sora had been influenced by a ghost's anger. Van encouraged the anger and was beaten up by Sora as a result. Upset, Sora had run off and that had been more grievous an injury than the ones on his face. After some time, Sora apologized to Vanitas.
The most horrifying part is, however, that Vanitas is actually starting to genuinely like Sora? He doesn't know if it is the Bond or if it is just the fact the brat is just that persistent. If anything he is pretty considerate of Vanitas and his needs. Vanitas finds himself going along with whatever Sora pulls him along to do and well. Turns out if Sora is having a rough go at it, Vanitas doesn't like it. So naturally this means that Vanitas has sought out Sora to soothe over some of those feelings as well. Somehow they are actually being there for one another on good days and bad days. Vanitas has feelings that he can't really put into words quite yet when he's around Sora and it's confusing.
TREVOR BELMONT
The guy seems like an idiot, plain and simple. Vanitas doesn't know it, but he had first encountered Trevor while the man had been in bat form. That one hadn't ended too well for Trevor, really. However he can't seem to tell the difference between Sora and Vanitas, so Van may want to play off of that a little more.
SYPHA BELNADES
Vanitas has only encountered Sypha a few times. He isn't sure what to make of her, though she doesn't quite seem as dim as her friend. In fact she seems somewhat intelligent. Sypha hasn't really spoken too much on her world or the things in it, but makes it seem like she has seen quite a bit. At the moment she doesn't seem all that willing to be around Vanitas overlong - not that he would blame her for that of course.
VIREN
Viren is a strange person. Vanitas isn't sure what to make of him at this time, only acknowledging that there is more to him than what he gives off. There is a darkness there. It's very hard for someone like Vanitas to miss that. However this guy is also kind of easy to rile up, if the attraction of his Flood is any indication. Speaking of his Flood, Viren has something of a fascination with it that Vanitas doesn't understand... That's why he is a little wary of Viren. Something isn't right there.
IRHYA PENDHULA
Irhya is another one of the Warriors of Light from that shattered star that Vanitas is more than familiar with. She is also a Dark Knight and a bit more explosive and energetic than the other Knight of the household is. Her approach to things is a little different and brings something of a balance to the household. Vanitas appreciates it probably more than he lets on. She is another person in his life that has been a good influence on him. He is fond of her, in his own way. If something were to happen to Irhya, no doubt that he would probably try to make the persons responsible pay.
THANCRED WATERS
Thancred is one of the Scions that Vanitas has heard quite a bit about. However, his role seems to be rooted in obtaining information. Thancred has sort of eluded to the fact it isn't the most glamorous of ways to live, but he always seems upbeat when he's around Vanitas. There's something there and Vanitas can't quite place what it is. Whether Thancred is putting on a bit of a front or not, Vanitas isn't sure. It seems harmless enough, especially when Thancred is another individual that is seemingly invested in Vanitas' continued growth. He had been the one to bring up what sort of hobbies Vanitas would be interested in. Overall, Vanitas doesn't mind Thancred too much, or rather, he doesn't dislike Thancred. He hasn't really pried too much into things, but is invested in the person that Vanitas is now. Vanitas doesn't understand it, but has atleast come to accept it.
DEMYX
All that Vanitas really knows about Demyx is that the guy had been one of the vessels that Xehanort had selected. However Demyx must not have made the final cut because in the end he was not a part of Organization XIII. That being said, Vanitas had known about him. Hadn't cared to get to know Demyx beyond this at all. It doesn't matter that Demyx can carry on in this world as he pleases, Vanitas still really doesn't want anything to do with anyone that had been associated with the Organization for whatever reason. Demyx might have a lackadaisical attitude, but he had been selected for a reason and Vanitas won't soon be forgetting that.
RIKU
Riku is probably the most curious of the Guardians of Light, at least to Vanitas. He is a master of both Light and Darkness, which means that he must have come to terms with the Darkness within. Vanitas doesn't really know much about Riku beyond this and his interactions with him have been minimal. Still, he is someone to at least be watched.
ROXAS
Roxas, unfortunately, share the same face as Ventus. It used to be Vanitas' face too, once upon a time. Inwardly, Vanitas does struggle with this. To look upon the face that he once had and know that he can never have it back does make him somewhat nastier with Roxas than he probably should be. Roxas hasn't really done anything to him, but has tried to at least understand where Vanitas is coming from. Vanitas is ultimately jealous because Roxas, a person who shouldn't exist, does exist and with a whole heart to himself! He is just a Nobody, a shell that had been created when Sora had been stupid enough to free his heart from his body. And yet this thing gets to be complete while Vanitas doesn't. Needless to say, whatever feelings that Vanitas has towards Roxas, it is based on these biases.
ALLURA
Allura has all but met Vanitas once and yet left quite an impression. It isn't as though he hates her or dislikes her. However Vanitas had been kind of put off by her persistence and then the attitude that had followed. All he had really wanted had been to be left alone. Then Allura gets upset when he's reasonably snippy? It doesn't make sense at all and it most certainly isn't how one treats customers! However who know what the future might bring.
